FEATURED PROJECTS
The senior thesis project allowed students to create a project on whatever they wanted. Students had to then conduct research about the topic and then design their space based off the research they collected. Students also had to include green aspects in order to "pass" the LEED checklist. This project lasted the entire 16 week semester.
the cove. is the rebranded luxury jewelry store that was once High-End Jewelers. The retailer was looking to launch a flagship store on the East Coast in downtown Georgetown, Washington, D.C. where it offers a unique experience for its diverse customers while blending to the history and flare of the surrounding area. High-End Jeweler, Inc. was looking to use this new location as an opportunity to freshen its brand (name, logo, tagline). The store’s square footage is roughly 3,350 SF.
For this project students were to create a coffee shop post COVID-19. Students were given a blank floor plan and could do anything to space except for moving the walls. Students had the choice to include a drive-through window and outdoor seating. The idea for this coffee shop is to create a space that feels like a home away from home. Since COVID-19 is still a global crisis we are facing, this space will make the customers feel like they just took a trip to Morocco.
