Taste of Morocco Cafe

The concept for this coffee shop is to create a space that feels like a home away from home. Since COVID-19 is still a global crisis we are facing, this space will make the customers feel like they just took a trip to Morocco. This space will showcase traditional Moroccan design by incorporating Islamic arches, traditional Moroccan mosaic tiles, and traditional Moroccan furniture. This space will feature blue and white inspired by Chefchaouen city in Morocco. Purples, yellows, pinks, and reds will be used to decorate the space to help embody the Moroccan culture and design. There will be 3 different types of seating to not only help social distance but cater to different audiences. Traditional Moroccan screens will be used indoor and will have stained glass installed to help create safe smaller spaces. The COVID-19 safety measures that will be used in this space are the use of antimicrobial fabrics, antimicrobial coatings on tables, counters, and floors, and having the tables at least 6 feet from neighboring tables. Outdoor seating will also be available for those who are not comfortable sitting indoors.
